Habitat and Mechanism
The submerged former coastline southwest of the Vancouver dome。Warm, humid exhaust from the dome, seawater intrusion, pressure released by old tide gates, and submerged metal structures combine to form a low-frequency resonant wetland.

Their response to underground vibration led Fang and K to an old tide pump that was still operating.

Observation Rule
Fang and K measure from opposite sides of the channel, then yield the passage when the adults guide their fawns to safety. Tracking means reading the direction an animal leaves, not chasing it down.
The herd turned back, alert, while Fang read the vibration patterns in the ground and K called out the wind direction.
